Description

Becker grand pianos are crafted in accordance with European traditions, and are also tested for compliance with the comprehensive German eXC evaluation system that includes universal standards for scale, string tension and diameter, hammer strike point, etc. This ensures that every note sounds pristine on a Becker grand which, in turn, is the key to the natural and balanced sound of a grand piano.

Every (even the smallest) part of a grand piano contributes to its overall sound. The rich and colorful timbre of Becker grand pianos was made possible thanks to the highest quality of materials used in production, precision crafted parts, as well as careful tuning and adjustments of the piano action. All work is performed by talented and experienced craftsmen, each of whom is a unique specialist in their respective area.

The soundboard of Becker grand pianos is made from solid spruce from the Changbaishan region. All wood is aged for over ten years under natural conditions. The pianos are equipped with a solid cast iron frame with a matte gold finish. The frame is manufactured using vacuum casting technology to ensure strength, stability, and perfectly smooth lines.

The keyboard is made of multi-layer wood that has undergone heat treatment. The matte finish of the black keys is designed to imitate ebony. The white keys are treated with a special imported coating that prevents slipping and further enhances playability. Parts of the piano action are made from solid blocks of high-quality maple using first-class felt from the British company Hainsworth.

The special design of the tuning pins ensures precise spacing and tension of the string which allows Becker instruments to have that rich and bright tone.

The instrument comes with a cloth cover, a bench, and a microfiber cloth.
